Mediterranean Yacht Charter

Mediterranean Yacht Charter - Kos

Our yachts are available for charter at Kos Marina Greece during the Summer months. There are direct flights from the UK to Kos airport from May to October, the marina is only a further 30 minutes by taxi. The weather conditions in this part of the Eastern Mediterranean are superb for sailing with force 4-5 NW'ly being the norm. In July and August the "Meltemi" blows at F6-F8 with no change to the hot sunny weather! This takes a bit of getting used to as this wind will blow all day and all night, it is certainly good for a fast passage downwind.

Kos is part of the Dodecanese chain of islands with lots of good anchorages and short day sails within easy reach.

The Turkish coast is only 5 miles away with lots of brilliant anchorages along with bigger towns such as Bodrum and Marmaris. There are many charming natural anchorages and bays along the Turkish coast where you will receive a very friendly reception from the local people, many of these will have restaurants and mooring facilities.
